With extensive planning experience in the fields of ecological and arboricultural, we create value for our clients by streamlining the planning application process. In conjunction with Mark Shepherd Consulting and Ecocentric Environmental Consulting, we are able to provide a full suite of vegetation management services including:
 

• Habitat Hectare assessments

• Net gain analysis

• Flora and fauna surveys, including targeted surveys for threatened species

• Scattered tree assessments

• Environmental Management Plans

Land and Offset Management Plans

We can create Offset Management Plans to meet Net Gain requirements or general Land management Plans for land covered by Environmental Significance Overlays (ESOs), Vegetation Protection Overlays (VPOSs) and/or Wildlife Management Overlays (WMOs) to meet Local Council and/or Country Fire Authority (CFA) requirements

Bushland Management Plans

We have expertise in creating management plans for bushland reserves to guide the ecological management and restoration of sites, especially those with high-quality habitat values. Such reserves may include sites managed by local government, DEPI, Melbourne Water or Parks Victoria.

Our consultants have a background in on-ground environmental management, including the use of herbicides and other bush regeneration techniques to promote and restore biodiversity in local bushland reserves. We, therefore, have the necessary knowledge to create useable and meaningful Bushland Management Plans that can be used by contractors to guide the ecological management of bushland reserves.


Weed mapping

We can design and implement weed mapping programs such as those typically required by public land managers in order to prioritise weed control efforts in reserves and other public lands.

We also have expertise in the design of ecological monitoring programs applied to sites in order to measure ecological change over time. Monitoring programs may be required by public land managers or government departments to evaluate the effectiveness of weed control programs or other ecological restoration programs.
