We provide comprehensive bushfire risk assessment reporting for town planning applications.

We provide expertise in Bushfire Management Overlay (BMO) assessments for buildings (including proposed dwellings) and subdivisions. Many planning permit applications in the rural/urban fringes of Melbourne and in country Victoria require Bushfire Management Statements, including Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessments to accompany planning permit applications.

Bushfire Management Statements are required in order to determine defendable space setback distances and building standards for construction in the Bushfire Management Overlay or within areas deemed as bushfire prone.

We provide an integrated bushfire risk assessment service that can also address any native vegetation losses and arboricultural issues as a result of fuel reduction requirements, which typically sets us apart from bushfire consultants who don’t have the expertise to address Victoria’s native vegetation permitted clearing regulations.
